The demons are trying to convince me that I’m being punished for building a fire to heat my home because some of the neighbors don’t like the smoke that comes out of the chimney,

I mean the simplest and most logical and reasonable thing to do would be to not only act on that thought but act on it and kill all the neighbors, 

because then there would be no one who would be offended by the smoke!!!,
