probably not playing any football video games for a while unless I get a heavily modded one or something different comes out soon,
have to do a significant amount of work on my own to be able to do what I like with them,
basically want NCAA14 with team builder and a better madden to go with it that has the same gameplay, use my created team,
create recruits and save draft classes to draft players from my college game into the pro game,
having a collegiate, ‘amateur’, and pro team that can be created and played with that kind of gameplay and features would be the ultimate football video game,
especially with a true create a playbook feature that isn’t so limited that you can edit names of everything so you can create an actual playbook wouldn’t be that difficult for developers to put together,
and having some kind of 8 on 8 street style mode to “recruit from the street” to either convince players from the street to enter the college recruiting pool after a season or become a free agent for pro teams would be so much fun,
it doesn’t matter how old you are if you’ve never been to college you can go to any college or university and have athletic eligibility and even earn an athletic scholarship,
could just have separate databases with players and have ‘tokens’ or ‘lines of code designating eligibility based on games played with what teams in what leagues’ determining what leagues and teams they’d be eligible to be put on,
from there you could even design storylines that could take a player from the streets to an amateur team to a top college program to a top professional program and then other professional programs in leagues with differing rules,
most things could be randomized fairly easily and creative options would allow for the creating and sharing of exactly what players want,
and remember above all else “The Football is Lacey”,
and never use The Knife on The Football to know for sure,
