we used to go to a pool at Francis Slocum,
I was 6 or 7 when I learned how to swim there,
I would follow my friends as we played in the pool but I’d never follow them into the deep end,
they noticed that I wouldn’t follow them there so when we got out of the water to take a break and get some snacks from the snack stand,
they picked me up,
carried me to the edge of the water near the side of the pool where the deep end is,
and threw me in,
I sank into the water,
started to panic,
felt the pressure from the water and how it moved as I moved,
calm,
I got my head above the surface of the water,
I looked around the pool,
and I swam to the edge and climbed out,
I like swimming in the deep water,
I can stay deep in the water where the pressure is so forceful that nothing else can survive there that is like me that it like I can breathe under water, I feel, I am breathing under water,
