I need to relax and calm down and think of things less complicated and not so intensely emotional for a while, I know let’s check out this really old football video game I found,

cool there are still save files from when I was way younger and tons of highlights saved so let’s check out the ones that are rated the greatest, First one in the highlights for that game,

something that we both enjoyed playing the same way on our own we would share stories about when we hung out,

”So what happened with the character you made me in NCAA? What schools recruited them and where’d they go?”,
It’s like I’m the head coach and your guy is my best player. I chose that team this year because I needed something completely different from the other ones like my usual pick and favorite or the custom one I made because of some of the things I was thinking about dealing with those teams,

my uncle went there and turtles are a cool mascot, I recruited them there and they were the only created or good player I had sign with my team because I had to recruit them so heavily,

because of that I had to get creative with how I called plays and put what guys where to get your guy the ball in ways that would help win games instead of just get high statistics,

”What you got to work with and what scheme……”,

”what would be fair to the senior player in that position and how would we make that decision because they might be better than players in other positions we could replace and sometimes they would be the best to have on the field to do something specific?” ,

“how’d you think the teamed react to something like that?”,

”why is there such a focus on ‘starter’ as a label when that doesn’t really matter if there’s enough scheme and stuff to use everyone right in different ways?”,

When I got to play football again with the Warriors they’d always ask me during practices especially early on,

”so what position do you play?”,

I’d respond with

“I am a football player” or just “I play football”, everyone always laughed at that and eventually I think we all started to seriously think about why that is such a focused on topic for football, they’d laugh and get serious quiet for a while sometimes,

I always said before the season started that I’d be happy as long as I got to play just one play,

you were on a team with people that you actually talked to and helped each other think about football in a better way
