they could include bulletproof padding on the outer upper and lower arms and the front of the upper and lower legs without sacrificing mobility in any major way,
like they could be stitched directly into the uniform and the uniform would be able to be put on just as efficiently and effectively as they would before,
is the bulletproof material that is usually used in the uniforms I’ve seen like only bulletproof if covering a specific amount of area otherwise it wouldn’t have enough integrity to be bulletproof?,
if thickness is a nonfactor and the material needs to be solid over a specific amount of area like a 2 unit by 2 unit square area of coverage to be bulletproof and a 1 unit by 1 unit square area of coverage would not be bulletproof and a 2 unit by 2 unit solid area of material would be big enough to cover the torso without limiting mobility but is too big to cover the specified areas of the limbs individually without limiting mobility then it would make sense why they do not include armor for the limbs and other areas in the uniform for the military uniforms I’ve seen that are like that,
if that is why or even if there are other reasons relating to the properties of the bulletproof material a possible solution would be to utilize bullet resistant materials (if access to such materials is available), materials that might not stop a bullet completely but would limit its efficiency and effectiveness, such materials to have properties making them bullet resistant but not bulletproof when compared to equal coverage areas of bulletproof material in examples such as described with bulletproof materials needing to be 2 units by 2 units of solid square area coverage in order to be bulletproof making them (bullet resistant) incorrectly considered nonfactors strategically with strategic evaluation becoming necessary to improve the craft with potential for such materials to become bulletproof materializing as some materials are only bulletproof if covering the same area required to be bulletproof with more individual solid units,
a 2 unit by 2 unit solid square area of one material might not be bulletproof but an area of coverages by 2 solid 1 unit by 1 unit square areas of the same material could be bulletproof,
