You think Gohan acts kinda goofy as Saiyaman and like the ginyu force because he has some mental blocks that he hasn’t worked through from when he turned SS2 and went to kinda a dark place where he wanted to make Cell suffer more than he wanted to save the planet and that by having mental blocks he doesn’t have to deal with that part of himself and because he doesn’t want to go to a dark place like that again?,

yeah probably but he works through it when he ascends again eventually, 

one being staring at another being and telling them that their desire is to make them suffer despite it making it more sense to end their suffering and save the planet, 

yeah the whole I should just kill if I’m killing because it actually makes more tactical sense than torturing or acting with the intention of causing suffering over other more important intentions and goals is a pretty dark whole thing especially because the more important intention and goal is to kill….,
